Red Hat

Senior Principal Software Engineer

Leads a team of Salesforce developers working on a Service Cloud implementation that started in 2009. Primary responsibilities include architecting solutions for business problems, implementing the solutions and developing tooling to help automate various processes.

Training Manager

In charge of developing new training for Support Delivery and providing training and certification exams for new hires. This included an intensive 6 week in-person training course that facilitated new hires in passing the RHCE exam.

Wake Tech

Adjunct Professor

Instructed a semester long Introduction to C class taught for Red Hat associates. This was a weekly course that included 2 hour in person instruction, exams and weekly programming assignments.

Salesforce MVP

2013 — present

MVP status is awarded to members of the Salesforce Community based on their contributions to the community. This was awarded based on involvement in the Triangle Developer User Group, contributions on the developer boards, blog posts and IRC contributions.

Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I

2024 — present

Certified Platform Developer I developers understand how to develop and deploy custom business logic and custom interfaces using the programmatic capabilities of the Lightning Platform. They know when to use declarative versus programmatic methods, and can extend the Lightning Platform using Apex and Visualforce.

Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder

2018 — present

This certification shows a base level knowledge of how to configure Salesforce to meet common business use cases using standard platform functionality. This certification replaces the Salesforce Certified Force.com Developer.

Salesforce Certified AI Associate

2024 — present

This certification will validate foundational skills in ethical and responsible handling of data as they apply to AI in CRM.

This certification shows a base level knowledge of how to configure Salesforce to meet common business use cases using standard platform functionality.

Eagle Scout

2002

The highest award a Scout can earn, the Eagle is only obtained by four percent of its members. Members that are awarded the badge of Eagle have to show leadership and service to their community.

Venturing Silver Award

2004

The Silver Award was the highest award in the Venturing program of the Boy Scouts of America and is obtained by less than one percent of it's members. Members that are awarded the Silver Award fulfill requirements relating to emergency preparedness, leadership skills, and ethics-in-action.
